Many of you have been wondering and asking, “Do the recent COVID restrictions affect our planned Sunday BLAST (Family BBQ) event?”
The technical or legal answer is “No.” The new restrictions do not affect outside gatherings.
Because we are concerned about the health of our church family, and perceptions or misunderstandings, we have modified our Sunday BLAST (Family BBQ). We will have a BBQ following this Sunday’s worship service. However, we have cancelled the inflatables, but will have the balloon clown for the children and Kettle Popcorn for dessert. We have moved the location to our parking lot and we will encourage smaller group gatherings for fellowship. Food will be handled in a safe manner, and fellowship outside will follow all provincial regulations and be safe.
Come to church and the BBQ … and bring your lawn chair.
